Composite Bouquets

via source

Also called a glamelia (or malmaison rose), these hand accessories are something you definitely do NOT see everyday
(and that's why I love them so much!)
They first debuted about 70 years ago as a way to make a single flower look more lush (like a camellia!) but have been making a comeback with Vintage brides.  Kathering Heigl even carried one at her wedding!
Florists arrange these bouquets petal by petal- wiring it all by hand to create a giant, one of a kind bloom.
Although mostly done with roses, I love seeing the newest creations with different floral types. as well as shapes and colors.
Clearly they make a striking statement-- your own fantastical bouquet!
Scared about wilting (at the cost of one)?  Add some more petals to my crepe flower DIY and you're good to go!

So are you a one flower fella?  Or the more blooms the better?
