They did it!

This weekend was a great one for me.  Besides celebrating my wonderful mom, my brother and boyfriend's sister graduated from law school!  Of course I needed to do something for the occasion, but with many graduation items revolving around those flat top caps (while their higher degrees warranted puffy berets!), I knew I found a winner with these diploma chocolate pops!

^^These should be in the same category as Sandra Lee's Semi-Homemade show.  While they look really awesome, they are pretty easy to make with not much cooking effort on your part! ^^

^^I started by painting the blows with some blue chocolate melts to match their school color.  Let that cool in the fridge/freezer for about 5-10 minutes, then pour your white candy melts over it and put a stick in- as easy as that!  Put it back in the fridge/freezer for another 10 minutes and they're done!^^

^^I wanted to take it a few steps further and once I saw these candy writing pens, I knew what was going to happen.  Very carefully I wrote "LAW" above the bow and "2013" below it.  A detail many might not notice but necessary in my crazy mind!  I also wrote it in white to not have so much going on and keep the whole look clean^^

^^Last, I wrapped them up in some candy bags and tied them off using a tag made with the punch I first talked about here.  Such a quick and easy way to make a statement!  Plus super easy to change out the names for the lady graduate as well.^^

^^Ta-dah!  Don't they look great?  They were a huge hit with everyone-- and no one could believe I made them!^^

Any big events coming up in your life?  I have another family member graduating soon, so be on the lookout for another easy graduation project coming up!
